Intra- and inter-organizational capabilities

Description

While municipal issues emerge alongside the development of social complexity, organizations are increasingly confronted with cross-border issues” that transcend territorial divisions and organizational missions. Managing cross-border issues requires the development of new intra-organizational capabilities and the transformation of inter-organizational collaboration.

The goal of Cité-ID is to work with organizations and networks to co-develop approaches to strengthen and build capacity and reduce intra- and inter-organizational failings. Cité-ID is especially interested in the challenges of coordination and collaboration to address broad issues affecting community resilience.

Cité-ID also seeks to develop new approaches to fully integrate evidence and scientific knowledge into urban public policy and decision-making practices.
