The 10 universities in Greater Montréal came together to launch the “10 Together” campaign
The 10 universities in Greater Montréal — UQAM, École de technologie supérieure, École nationale d’administration publique, École Polytechnique de Montréal, HEC, Institut national de la recherché scientifique, Concordia University, Université de Montréal, Université de Sherbrooke (Campus Longueuil) and McGill University – came together to launch the “10 Together” campaign.
The campaign aims to highlight the important contribution of universities to the daily lives of Montrealers and celebrate the great brains that make Montréal the best university city in America, as found by the recent QS Best Student Cities ratings. “The 10 university centres of the metropolis contribute to the strength of sectors such as innovation, research and culture, among others. Through the knowledge they transmit, these 10 institutions of higher learning enrich our community and create an intelligent, strong and lively city,” to quote the campaign’s website.
The campaign highlights the innovations of researchers and graduates of the 10 Montréal schools. One of these innovations is the Cité-ID Living Lab in Urban Resilience Governance, the brainchild of Marie-Christine Therrien, Professor at the École nationale d’administration publique.
