Pub­li­ca­tion of Urban resilience imple­men­ta­tion: A pol­i­cy chal­lenge and research agen­da for the 21^st century

How to devel­op urban resilience? Marie-Chris­tine Ther­rien and her col­leagues pro­pose a new research agen­da and a pol­i­cy chal­lenge on urban resilience. The authors argue that researchers and prac­ti­tion­ers need to work togeth­er to bet­ter under­stand the trans­for­ma­tive capa­bil­i­ties of cities, mobi­lize part­ners and devel­op new forms of gov­er­nance. The research-agen­da is pub­lished in Jour­nal of Con­tin­gen­cies and Cri­sis Man­age­ment. This pub­li­ca­tion is the result of a co-con­struc­tion project between prac­ti­tion­ers and researchers fund­ed by the Social Sci­ences and Human­i­ties Research Coun­cil of Cana­da (SSHRC).
